Sustainable Resources for Cleveland

Recycling initiative

Each month, we will collect a hard to recycle item from you to properly recycle. You can bring these to your shopping appointment, our open hours, drop off during your curbside pick up or leave them on your doorstep on the day of your delivery. This is one of the many ways we are making sustainability simple.

Our Pick up itemS of the month:

This month we are collecting beauty and body care containers for our recycling initiative items of March. Even after switching to a more sustainable lifestyle, we tend to have other body and beauty care plastic products we are using up before switching to an alternative. Save them from ending up in landfill!

Let's clean up the land with a socially distanced trash pick-up powered by Trashfishcle, Faanware and Refill Goodness.

Event Location: Edgewater Beach.
9AM: Meeting time. Look out for our pop-up tent in the field.
9:15AM: A quick tutorial on picking up hazardous trash done by Trashfishcle.
12AM: Meet back up with trash for proper disposal.

We'll Supply: Litter clean up supplies such as trash bags, gloves, grabbers (first come first serve), sanitizer, fresh water for drinking (bring your own bottle) and soap supplied from Refill Goodness. Trash bags are being supplied from GreenPolly.

You Bring: Masks, durable gloves (like old dish gloves if you'd like to refuse single-use gloves) and helping hands! Make sure to dress appropriately with walking shoes.
Want to purchase your own trash grabber and reusable gloves? Pre-order your gear: PRE-ORDER

All ages are invited and encouraged, but parents are responsible for supervising their children.

Aren't from Cleveland or not comfortable meeting up for a clean up? That's okay! We respect this and urge you to clean up around your area. Use the hashtag #cleanuptheland to stay updated on the event and show off your own clean up! A map of littered areas in Cleveland that need attention will be posted closer to the event date.

Want to support this event without picking up trash? All tips from Refill Goodness orders up until the event will go towards supplies like gloves and grabbers.

For updates on this event, use the link to RSVP for the FB event or follow us online on our social media pages.

Are you a business who wants to participate? DM us for a copy of your flyer!
If you have any questions about the event, please contact Rechelle Ray (rechelle@refillgoodness.com)
